The Bank of Korea raised its policy interest rate by a quarter point Friday. South Korea’s consumer inflation printed at 4.1% in May from the year-earlier period. The move took the benchmark base rate to 3.25% after two rate hikes earlier this year. The move followed recent above-target inflation data.
